Meet the Doctors

Dr. Ronald Ferrucci

Dr Ronald Ferrucci is the senior partner of Greater Milford Eye Associates. He is a graduate of Tufts University and the New England College of Optometry. He has served on numerous committees in the American Optometric Association as well as the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. In 1994, he became one of only two individuals to have been awarded the distinction of New England Optometrist of the Year.

Dr. Ferrucci has been involved in optometric education for many years. He has served as a Senior Clinical Examiner on the National Board of Optometry, and served for a term of seven years on the Accreditation Council of Optometric Education, the accrediting body for all of the optometry schools in the United States and Canada. For the past ten years, he has served as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New England College of Optometry.

In June, 2007, Dr Ferrucci received the Dr. Briggs S. Palmer Award as one of the three most active optometrists in the past 25 years of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.

Dr. Ferrucci has been in practice for over 30 years and has a special interest in contact lenses, low vision, and geriatrics.

Dr. Gregory Ferrucci

Dr. Greg Ferrucci is a second generation optometrist. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut and the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Ferrucci joined Greater Milford Eye Associates in 2006, after completing clinical rotations in a number of Boston area hospitals, including the VA Hospitals of West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Lowell. He also has experience in several community health settings, such as the Dimock, East Boston, and South Boston Community Health Centers.

Dr. Ferrucci is the producer and director of the well-received instructional video for the Massachusetts Preschool Vision Screening Protocol, which was commissioned by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. He presently serves on the Continuing Education Committee of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, which is responsible for developing educational programs designed to keep practicing optometrists current with advances in the field.

Dr. Ferrucci has had concentrated clinical training in family eyecare specialty, contact lens fitting and low vision.
